     When staying up late or sleep in the middle of the night before, sometimes appearing hunger. Though already had dinner. Well, if the stomach did not want to compromise, what should we do?


     According to nutrition expert , Dr. Darmono SS, MPH, SpGK; "hunger in the middle of the night is actually just a human sensation who still have the desire to eat. Because, if it is eaten at around 19:00 or 20:00 pm, should have a full stomach and feel full."
     "So, it's not hunger because of the dinner were not enough. But there was not enough flavor after eating foods that contain carbohydrates," explains instructor in nutrition at the University of Diponegoro.
     Therefore, the safest way when you feel hungry in the middle of the night is to drink warm water. "Actually, the warm water was able to eliminate hunger," added Darmono .


     Can eating rice when hungry in the middle of the night and could not be invited to compromise with a glass of warm water? "No, because rice contains high energy," said Darmono. Eat rice before bed can lead to obesity and diabetes are also dangers.

     In addition to the warm water, he said, the food is safe to eat at night only fruits and vegetables because it contains no energy.
     "High-fiber food such as vegetables keep best eaten at night," he explained.
