Surely we can save the lives of accident victims. The most important factor is: "Do Not Panic." As presented by Dr. Yogi in the seminar sessions 'Emergency Fair' which held at Hall of the Faculty of Medicine at the UI are loaded on detik.com ,here are the steps:

1 . Checks Awareness
Check if the victim is still in a state of conscious or not by tapping or waving his shoulder. If still conscious, then help the victims to find the most comfortable position while you ask for help from the people around.

2 . Check Breathing
If he is unconscious, open the airway (Mouth) first and then see, hear, and feel for normal breathing victims. Do not confuse agonal breathing with normal breathing. Agonal breathing usually occurs after the heart stops up to 40 percent, the patient breathing hard, heavy, noisy, or gasping. Breathing is known as a sign of a heart attack. Also make sure you have contacted the Emergency Unit.

3 . Chest Compression
Place the heel of one hand in the center of the chest, place the heel of your other hand on top of the interlock fingers. Compress the chest to a depth of 4cm to 5cm.

4 . Breath Support
Pinch the victim's nose and you start to take a normal breath. Your lips shut entirely on the victim's mouth. Breathe the air up to the victim's chest looks up approximately one second. Give it time to go back down the chest wall. repeat it.

5 . Notice If There Is An Injury or Trauma
If there is bleeding, then take the gauze and press to stop the bleeding. When there is dirt in the wound, simply wipe with rubbed and not washed. If the victim suffered fractures open, grab the thick gauze cloth and press to stop the bleeding grab the thick gauze cloth and press to stop the bleeding. If there are bones discharged should not be included as part of it is exposed to dirt, if included could cause an infection. As much as possible send the victim to the hospital in less than 12 hours.
