BMW Coated Gold, More Than Rp. 9 Billion

     A gold-plated BMW showcased at the Auto Salon held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre. Owned by Mohammed and Bakr Ibrahim, BMW Goldie Horn trunk show off, undercarriage parts, wheels, driver's seat and steering wheel are 23 karat gold plated!

     More than 1 million dollars (Rp. 9 billion) invested in this vehicle with the coat of gold. Ben Tubridy, who manages the Ibrahim brothers modification workshop in Queen Street, said the gold-plated car is able to travel a distance of 1/4 mile in under 7.2 seconds with a speed of 196 mph.
     Gold-plated BMW is powered by a custom-built engine from Mazda quad rotor that can catapult power of 2,000 hp. This car is a mix between a car show and drag cars.
